What this check assumes
Grade Check assumes your current grade represents all coursework outside the final exam, and the final-exam weight is the remaining share of the course grade.
Course grading policies can include dropped assignments, category weighting, curves, extra credit, or other rules that this quick check does not model.
How this resource works
Target grade = current grade × (1 − final weight) + final-exam score × final weight. Solving for the final-exam score gives: required score = (target grade − current grade × (1 − final weight)) ÷ final weight.
