Formula used
Drywall Sheets = Wall Area ÷ Sheet Area × (1 + Waste Percentage).
Example calculation
For 40 ft of wall length at 8 ft high using 4 ft by 8 ft sheets with 10% waste, the estimate is 11 sheets.
What the result means
The result estimates how many drywall sheets you need. It does not subtract doors or windows unless you adjust the total wall length or area manually.
