How this calculator works
How to use this calculator
Select a start date and end date. Choose whether to include the end date, then calculate the number of business days.
Formula used
The calculator checks each calendar date in the selected range and counts Monday through Friday as business days. Saturdays and Sundays are excluded.
Example calculation
From Monday, January 5, 2026 to Friday, January 9, 2026, including both dates, the result is 5 business days.
What the result means
The result shows weekdays only. Public holidays are not automatically removed, so subtract holidays manually if needed.
Frequently asked questions
Does this exclude public holidays?
No. It excludes Saturdays and Sundays only.
Does it include the start date?
Yes. The calculator includes the start date if it is a weekday.
