Formula used
Tip amount = bill amount × tip percentage ÷ 100. Total = bill amount + tip amount. Per person = total ÷ number of people.
Example calculation
For an $80 bill with a 15% tip split between 2 people, the tip is $12, the total is $92, and each person pays $46.
What the result means
The result estimates a fair split based on the selected tip percentage and number of people. It does not account for individual item splits unless you adjust the bill amount manually.
